1/23/12 - The Land Use committee has passed the guidelines I've developed to help improve public access at Harvey Milk and Jane Warner plazas. This legislation would clarify the legal status of these plazas, which currently exist in a no-man's-land between parks, streets and sidewalks, all of which are already regulated by city ordinance. Effective management of these public spaces will ensure they are accessible to everyone.
